Configure systems to launch virtual machines at boot

GUI method:

go to VM details –> boot options –> and marck “Start Virtual machine on host boot up”

Terminal method:

to see all VMs:

# virsh list – -all

to see the VM active:

# virsh list

to enable virtual machines at boot:

# virsh autostart maquinavirtual

to disable virtual machines at boot:

# virsh autostart maquinavirtual – -disable

to start a VM:

# virsh start maquinavirtual

to stop a VM:

# virsh shutdown maquinavirtual

to stop disruptively a VM:

# virsh destroy maquinavirtual

to reboot a VM:

# virsh reboot maquinavirtua

to clone a VM:

# virt-clone -o cliente1 –auto-clone
Asignando ‘cliente1-clone.qcow2’ | 7.0 GB 00:00:42
Asignando ‘cliente1-1-clone.qcow2’ | 2.1 GB 00:00:08
El clon ‘cliente1-clone’ ha sido creado exitosamente.

to remove a vm

virsh # undefine vm_to_remove
Se ha quitado la definición del dominio vm_to_remove
